Mow Money Terms of Use

Effective date: December 29, 2025

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mow Money mobile application and related services (“Mow Money”, “the App”), provided by Honed Edge LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using Mow Money, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

Use of the App

  • Eligibility
    • You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Mow Money.
    • If you are using Mow Money on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the business accepts these Terms.
  • Account responsibility
    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
    • You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Acceptable use
    • You agree not to misuse Mow Money, including by attempting to interfere with the normal operation of the App, accessing it using automated means without permission, reverse engineering, or using it for unlawful purposes.

Your business data

Mow Money allows you to record visits, time, materials, and other information about your work. You remain solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of the data you enter into the App.
  • How you use Mow Money data in your invoices, contracts, and communications with your own clients.
  • Complying with any laws or regulations that apply to your business, including recordkeeping, tax, employment, and consumer protection laws.

No professional advice

Mow Money is provided as a general business tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for determining whether the App meets your business needs and for verifying the accuracy and legality of any records, invoices, or reports generated using the App.

Intellectual property; License

  • Ownership
    • As between you and Honed Edge LLC, Honed Edge LLC (and its licensors, if any) owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Mow Money application, all associated software (including object and source code), technology, content, designs, user interfaces, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, documentation, and all intellectual property rights therein (collectively, “Honed Edge IP”). All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by Honed Edge LLC.
  • Limited license
    • Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Honed Edge LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Mow Money application solely for your internal business purposes. This license does not include any rights to:
      • copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, lease, rent, or otherwise transfer any Honed Edge IP;
      • access or use the software for the benefit of any third party (including benchmarking, hosting, or service bureau use);
      • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Mow Money application, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • No other rights
    • Except for the limited rights expressly granted above, no rights, title, or interest in any Honed Edge IP, whether by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, are granted to you under these Terms.

Availability and changes

  • Service availability
    • We aim to keep Mow Money available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to factors outside our reasonable control.
  • Changes to the App
    • We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Mow Money at any time, including adding or removing features.
  • Beta / early access features
    • Features labeled as beta, preview, or early access may be less stable and are provided without guarantees of availability or performance.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Mow Money is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honed Edge LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honed Edge LLC’s total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100) if no fees were paid.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Honed Edge LLC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your business practices, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to Mow Money at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms, non-payment of applicable fees, or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of Mow Money after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
